Which power station brand should I buy?

All five make reliable LiFePO4 units with multi-year warranties, so you will not buy a bad one. The differences are in charging speed, apps, expandability and price per kWh: EcoFlow and Anker lead on tech and output, Bluetti on value, Jackery on simplicity, and Goal Zero on build and home integration.

What each brand does best

  • Bluetti: the lowest price per kWh in most classes and some of the highest cycle ratings (the Bluetti Apex 300 is rated for 6,000). Chargers are sometimes sold separately on the big units, so read the bundle.
  • EcoFlow: fastest wall charging (most units refill in about an hour), the most polished app, and the widest range of add-on batteries and home-panel kits. Prices run a little higher.
  • Jackery: the easiest units to just plug in and use, sold everywhere, with a simple app. Fewer expansion options and the small Jackery Explorer 300 still uses older NMC cells.
  • Anker SOLIX: strong output for the size (the C1000 Gen 2 puts out 2,000 W from a 1 kWh battery), 5-year warranties, and the Anker SOLIX F3800 Plus does 240 V for well pumps and dryers.
  • Goal Zero: aluminum cases, long cycle ratings and the best home-integration kits, at the highest prices in every class.

Warranty and support

All five offer at least a 3-year warranty on current LiFePO4 units, and Anker and EcoFlow cover most models for 5. All have US-based support and sell replacement parts. We do not list brands that sell only through marketplaces, because warranty claims on those often go nowhere.

Common questions

Are Bluetti, EcoFlow and Jackery the same company?

No. All three are Chinese-founded companies with US subsidiaries; Anker is a large Chinese electronics brand; Goal Zero is a Utah company owned by NRG Energy.
